We will explore the history of heavenly moxibustion, the principles of seasonal treatment, leading to the practicalities (herbal preparations, point selection, treatment methods, contraindications and patient aftercare) enabling practitioners to confidently integrate seasonal moxa treatments into their clinics.

• Explain the theoretical basis of treating winter disease in summer and supporting health through seasonal intervention.
• Identify appropriate patients and clinical applications.
