This one day practical workshop introduces how Gua sha can be used to help common ailments like coughs, colds, stomach-ache, stiff neck, shoulder pain and insomnia. Like the Holographic Gua sha class the day before, this is a rare chance to get into the world of Gua sha and gain immediate skills and tips directly from a pioneer in in the Gua sha world.

Gua sha is a huge topic which takes a long time to understand and use correctly but in this short introduction to treatment, we will look briefly at some of the research behind treatments and at key ailments which are often helped successfully with Gua sha. This means that the course is well-suited to professionals and non-professionals alike and will be of benefit both in the treatment room with clients/patients and at home with family/friends.

The focus of this course is on introducing direct practical skills that can be used immediately to help alleviate the health issues featured. Throughout the day you will practise the techniques required and you will leave with a clear understanding on how to start to approach these issues.

There will be numerous demonstrations and ample time for questions and answers as well as supervised practice sessions.
